We are proud to share that the training philosophy of Extreme Fitness Academy × Biyan-kan has been recognized by international martial arts media.

In the latest issue of Japan’s premier combat sports magazine Fight & Life, our long-term work in promoting Yizong Baguazhang and our unique martial arts curriculum is introduced in detail.
The feature article, titled “Learning Authentic Martial Arts in Taiwan”, highlights the teachings of Master Luo Dexiu and captures live training scenes from our classes at Biyan-kan. The report showcases how we present the profound internal methods of Baguazhang in ways that modern students can understand, emphasizing our distinctive value compared to MMA or conventional combat systems—
not simply strengthening body parts, but rebuilding the body’s operating system.
“I’m not teaching you how to defeat an opponent, but how to make your body more free and more responsive.”
— Master Luo Dexiu, Fight & Life interview
This is the first time our teaching philosophy has been featured in a major Japanese publication. It is both a recognition of our years of dedication and a sign that Taiwan’s traditional internal martial arts are gradually gaining international attention.

We believe that true martial arts should not be a closed heritage, but a form of human body wisdom that can be experienced across cultures and languages.
Our sincere thanks to all students, instructors, and supporters for walking this uncommon path with us.
